FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Who qualifies for a hunt?
Green Suiter Outdoors hunts are open to active and retired first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics and retired vets, active duty service members and underserved youth.
What costs are covered?
All lodging, meals, and hunting expenses are fully covered by our donors and sponsors. Participants are only responsible for travel to and from the hunt location.
Do I need hunting experience?
No prior hunting experience is necessary. Our experienced guides provide everything you need to make the trip safe and enjoyable.
Can I bring a guest?
At this time, hunts are reserved for first responders only. Special events and family activities may be offered in the future.
Do I need a hunting license to participate?
Yes. A valid Texas hunting license is required for all participants. While Green Suiter Outdoors provides lodging, meals, gear, and guides at no cost, every first responder must have their own hunting license to legally take part in the hunt.
Tip: Texas Parks & Wildlife offers hunting licenses online and at many sporting goods stores. If you need help securing a license, our team can guide you through the process.
